Raithal is the base camp for the Dayara Bugyal Trek in Uttarakhand, it is round 9 hour away from Dehradun. This trek offers you a breath-taking drive through the beautiful forests once you move out from Dehradun. After 1 hour you reach Mussoorie, Queen of hills and the famous hill station of Uttarakhand.
Now the trek will proceed to Uttarkashi, you reach to a view point which is known as Tingling Point, that offers you breath-taking views of the Garhwal Himalayas.
On the clear day you can see the peaks of mountains, which includes the Swag Rohini and the peaks of Himachal, Mount Bandarpoonch, Mount Srikanth, the Gangotri Peaks, the Chaukhamba massif, and even Mount Nanda Devi.
The trek routes most important tows in Uttarkashi, from where you can continue to Bhatwari. As you approach Raithal, the gateway to the Dayara Bugyal Trek, you can see the adorable sunset over the mount peaks of Bandarpoonch, Srikanth, Jaunli and Draupadi ka Danda, making your journey as memorable as the trek itself.

Initially, the trail leads out of Raithal village and takes you through fields. Following the well-marked path, in about an hour, you’ll arrive at a flat grassy land, where you can take a brief pause for water before continuing toward Gui.
Beyond the water point, the trail becomes increasingly wooded. You will enter a lush forest primarily composed of green and brown oaks (moru and kharsu) and rhododendron. Unlike other regions, there are no pine trees present here, which adds to the unique charm of the Dayara Bugyal trek.
Before arriving at Gui, the forest opens up to a few small clearings. The campsite at Gui is situated in one of these clearings, surrounded by dense forests. There is a small table nearby, and you will find village huts in the area that are used by villagers during the summer. Additionally, a U-shaped hut belonging to the forest department is present at some distance, adding a touch of rustic charm to the campsite.
On third day of the Dayara Bugyal Trek Package, you will continue on the trek from Gui to Dayara. As you move up from Gui, you start to see the mountains on the other sides that were hidden from view.
Today’s trek will be short, covering only 3 km distance, with slow move up and flat sections in between the treks. Beginning from Gui, joins the main and important trek and climb up to the Gui. Grass, a small ground settle in the forest. In one side you will find the 5-6 Chania huts with a packed pond in front of them, and a rise beside the pond.
Also, you will be noticed igloo-shaped house of the forest department near to the Chania huts. For the next half-kilometre form Gui. Grass is an easy way to walk through beautiful native forests. Take your time to absorb in the peaceful setting of the Himalayan forest. Here you can have the opportunity to participate in the big tree experience facility by your guide, which can help you to get deeply connected.
As you continue, you slowly start climbing again and cross a couple of drift that may be flowing, dried, or frozen totally depending on the seasons. Just crossing after 5 min these drifts, you will see an umbrella shapes rain shelter, relax calm your self and take a break for 10-15 minutes before you begin your trek.
Chilpada is only 20min away from the rain shelter. After taking some rest at rain shekter, you will notice the broken path on your left side. Leave the main trek and follow this broken path, which is leading you to Chilapada, a small opening between the grounds-a perfect spot to get rest before continuing to your trek through the lovely view of the Dayara Bugyal Trek.
Chilapada the starting of Dayara Bugyal Trek, provides the enough time to explore the vast grounds as it is situated nearby the area. After trekking through the forest for about half and hour, the trees line comes to an end, and the edge of the ground comens into the view. Still, the full extent of the methods is not yet clear.
You can spot the Chania huts in front of you, and the trek continues with the corner of the grounds. When you look at your right, you will be welcomed by the stunning view of the Bandar Pooch and Kala Nag. Its your last day of Dayara Bugyal Trek Pachage, after having breakfast at Raithal you will start your journey to back to Dehradun. The drive will be enjoyable with the beautiful views. It is awaiting that you will arrive the city of love Dehradun at around 6 pm on the same day.

By Bus:
The city of Dehradun is accessible by Road easily from some of the famous and important northern Indian cities which includes Delhi, Haridwar, Rishikesh and Mussorie. They include Ramnagar, Kashipur, Tanakpur and Pilibhit which makes it easy to get to Dehradun via state owned buses and private buses.
