Itinerary 

Your adventure to the Valley of Flowers trek begins in Rishikesh, known for its spiritual ambiance and yoga retreats. From here, you will travel 270 km to Joshimath, passing through the scenic Prayags—Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag, and Nandprayag. After an 8-9 hour journey, you will arrive in Joshimath, where a comfortable hotel or guesthouse awaits you.

On Day 2, your Valley of Flowers trek officially begins. After a short drive to Govindghat, you will start your 14 km trek to Ghangaria, the base camp for the Valley of Flowers trek. Along the way, you will be greeted by waterfalls, lush green landscapes, and towering snow-capped mountains.

Day 3 is the highlight of your journey as you finally enter the Valley of Flowers trek. The trek from Ghangaria takes about 2-3 hours, and as you approach, the valley reveals itself as a vibrant mosaic of colors. Spend the day exploring this floral wonderland, capturing its beauty in photographs, and absorbing the peaceful ambiance. It will be evening when you return to Ghangaria.

On Day 4, you will embark on a more challenging trek to Hemkund Sahib, a revered Sikh shrine at an altitude of 4,327 meters. This part of the Valley of Flowers trek is steep, but the stunning views of the glacial lake and surrounding peaks make it a must-visit. After spending time at Hemkund Sahib, you will return to Ghangaria for the night.

Your return journey begins on Day 5, as you trek back to Govindghat and then drive to Joshimath for an overnight stay.

The final day of your Valley of Flowers trek package sees you traveling back to Rishikesh, bringing your unforgettable adventure to a close.

  • Joshimath to Govindghat: Continue from Joshimath to Govindghat by bus or taxi.
  • Govindghat: Trek Starting Point: Govindghat is where the trek to the Valley of Flowers begins.
  • Cross Suspension Bridge: Start the trek by crossing a suspension bridge over the river.
  • Trek through Meadows and Forests: Proceed through lush meadows and forested areas to reach the Valley of Flowers.

While Trekos rarely cancels treks due to our efficient ground operations, cancellations can happen due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, government regulations, or any other factors beyond our control.
