Itinerary

Day 1: Rishikesh – Joshimath (270 km, 8-9 hours)

Your adventure to the Valley of Flowers Trek Package begins in Rishikesh, known for its spiritual ambiance and yoga retreats. From here, you will travel 270 km to Joshimath, passing through the scenic Prayags—Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag, and Nandprayag. After an 8-9 hour journey, you will arrive in Joshimath, where a comfortable hotel or guesthouse awaits you.

Day 2: Joshimath to Govindghat (22 km, 1 hour) and trek to Ghangaria (14 km, 4-5 hours)

On Day 2, your Valley of Flowers Uttarakhand Trek officially begins. After a short drive to Govindghat, you will start your 14 km trek to Ghangaria, the base camp for the Valley of Flowers Trek Package. Along the way, you will be greeted by waterfalls, lush green landscapes, and towering snow-capped mountains.

Day 3: Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers and return (10 km, 4-5 hours)

Day 3 is the highlight of your journey as you finally enter the Valley of Flowers trek Package. The trek from Ghangaria takes about 2-3 hours, and as you approach, the valley reveals itself as a vibrant mosaic of colors. Spend the day exploring this floral wonderland, capturing its beauty in photographs, and absorbing the peaceful ambiance. It will be evening when you return to Ghangaria.

Day 4: Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib and back (12 km, 6-7 hours)

On Day 4 of Valley of Flowers Uttarakhand Trek, you will embark on a more challenging trek to Hemkund Sahib, a revered Sikh shrine at an altitude of 4,327 meters. This part of the Valley of Flowers trek is steep, but the stunning views of the glacial lake and surrounding peaks make it a must-visit. After spending time at Hemkund Sahib, you will return to Ghangaria for the night.

Day 5: Ghangaria to Govindghat via Pulna (14 km, 3-4 hours) and drive to Joshimath

We understand that planning an outdoor trip brings a lot of excitement and joy. However, we also know that cancellations can be disappointing. While Trekos rarely cancels treks due to our efficient ground operations, cancellations can happen due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, government regulations, or any other factors beyond our control. In such cases, the following cancellation policy will be applicable.

To ensure a hassle-free experience, we recommend making your booking at least two months in advance. If you do need to cancel your trek, please inform us in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive written advice.

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

We have designed a cancellation policy that is fair, feasible, and convenient for all our customers. The procedure is as follows:

If you cancel your trek 21 or more days before the start date, we will deduct 10% towards GST and transaction charges and refund 90% as a trek voucher valid for 1 year.
If you cancel your trek 15-20 days before the start date, we will deduct 30% towards GST, transaction, accommodation at base, ration, etc., and refund 70% as a trek voucher valid for 1 year.
If you cancel your trek 7-14 days before the start date, we will deduct 50% towards GST, transaction, accommodation at the base, ration, trek leaders, permits, equipment, etc., and refund 50% as a trek voucher that is valid for 1 year.
If you cancel your trek 1-6 days before the start date, we will deduct 100% as all arrangements have been made, and we are ready to take you on the trek.
